German duo Dynamo Dreesen and Sven Riege aka Dresvn, are well-regarded techno heads from deep within the Berlin scene. Now they return with Godzilla, their latest LP on the city's Mechine label. Building on their work for the Sued label co-founded by Riege, the record stretches their experimental instincts further: analogue machines converse in real time, grooves appear and dissolve, and textures shift spontaneously. Every sound is wonderfully unpolished and unpredictable, which means you get a glimpse at the raw, process-driven energy that defines their pair.
