Ukranian veteran Vakula is enjoying something of a renaissance, thanks in part to a string of quietly impressive EPs released across 2025. He's now decided to build on these successes by launching a new label of his own, Pure Delay, which will no doubt provide a fine platform for his sonically detailed, emotive, and frequently off-kilter take on deep house, ambient and off-beat electronica. There's certainly plenty to inspire on Pulstation, with Vakula sprinting between spaced-out intergalactic electro ('Spaceman', with its increasingly wild and intense acid lines), Livity Sound/Timedance inspired polyrhythmic (and tribal-infused) techno ('Pulsation'), hypnotic nods to Brown Album and Snivilisation-era Orbital (the trippy and nostalgic 'Who Am I', and dystopian dub techno ('The Resonant Path').
