According to the team at Mule Musiq, the demo they received from Harmon - a young German producer earmarked as something of a future star of the global deep house underground - was so good that they "had to sign it straight away". It's certainly a highly impressive debut, with opener 'For You' delivering a gorgeous, slow-build blend of crunchy drum machine percussion, eyes-closed ambient house chords, picturesque effects-laden vocalisations, sparse bleeps and rumbling bass. His passion for depth and colour is explored further on the drifting bliss and gradually building breakbeats of 'California Sober', while 'Bells and Whistles' is a more melancholic, locked-in deep house shuffler. Finally, 'I Know You Know' is a simply gorgeous mix of echoing church organs, twinkling melodies, swirling pads and hushed, guitar-speckled house grooves.
