But on this latest solo record, the destination is the real star Vega: 40 times brighter than the sun, encircled by two debris belts, and currently showing signs of active planet formation. The narrative premise: Earth's tectonic shifts have generated a harmonic frequency from the planet's core that erodes biological senses, and evacuation begins in 2097. Mills stipulates it is not a warning - "there is nothing to learn" - as eleven tracks surge across three discs, opening with 'Destination Bright Star' and closing on 'Circumstellar Debris', waypoints through an impending journey.
