Dutchman Dexter is one of those European artists who seem to have always been around but has never had the moment in the spotlight of many of his peers. He'd probably say that was a good thing - if you're never in fashion, you can never go out of fashion. His latest takes him to Slow-Wave and exploring a humid, emotionally stirring brand of raw, deep, intense house. 'Blue Tack' lives in big, cancerous kicks with classic smeared pads and a little vocal that tugs at the heart. 'Rubbery' is just as horizontal but a little more forceful, with the silky tones of a neo-soul queen stirred into the mix. Perfection, frankly.
