Polish artist Radikal Guru has been cranking out crucial sonics for over a decade now. In that time, there have been several LPs and countless 12"s, mostly on Moonshine Recordings, which is where he returns for his latest. His signature sound is a blend of digi-dub and sound system heft as evident on 'Dread Commandments', a snaking five-minute submersion in clean low ends and bright harmonica lines that float over the stepping rhythms. The Dubbing Sun remix has more room and an airy feel, while the Killawatt is quite the opposite as is sinks into a more humid and dank atmosphere over focused drums. Add in the wobbly VIP and you have another big one from the Guru.
