We're back in Poland after summer hiatus, celebrating 10th anniversary of iconic SideOne record store. Located in a Warsaw backyard, it's been supplying Poland's most popular DJs with records for nearly a decade while serving as the hanging spot for artists, promoters and music lovers. This fall sees the release of Side One Ten ? a compilation of 12 unreleased tracks prepared by the most important Polish electronic producers of the past ten years ? released by an affiliated imprint S1 Warsaw and crowd-funded by the local community. Side One Ten is full of musical surprises reserved for the occasion, and one definitely worth the mention is SLG's official remix of 'Alu' by Michał Urbaniak Group, originally released on the legendary 1974 album Inactin, sampled (not once, but twice) by A Tribe Called Quest. Being a long-term fan and observer of the Polish electronic scene, Urbaniak offered the track and his support so we couldn't resist to take the opportunity and invite him down to the celebratory session. The iconic jazzman will perform a 40-minute live jam session, alongside Michael 'Patches' Stewart on trumpet, Dariusz Makaruk on the hardware and a 5x IDA Poland champion DJ Falcon1 on the turntable duties.

We've also got S1's young sensation Matat Professionals with his live show (who's just had Willie Burns remix his first EP, not bad for a debut eh) and a special vinyl-only audiovisual show from local veterans Soul Service, who'll provide the lost sounds all the way from Eastern Europe to the Far East illustrated with a psychedelic video installation and analogue slides by Kapitan Sparky. And it couldn't be a proper celebration without the birthday boy(s) so we've made sure to give the beloved SideOne crew (Wojtek WWW b2b Reck b2b Jealo) their well-deserved slot.
