Głęboki, soundsystemowy minimal z Rumunii. Subtelne linie basowe, miejsca „kwaśne”, dubowe i po prostu pijane. Można się ponamyślać, można się zagubić.
Rominimal wunderkind G76 is back with another full length, this time on Berlin via Moscow's Nervmusic. Real name Florin Gojnea, he's been hard at work over the last year, having only just released his last album back in 2019 on Bucharest's Playedby. 'Slipping Through The Hands Of The Machine' is yet another fine collection of lean and subtle grooves, aimed squarely at the after-hours dancefloors. From the deep and swing-fuelled jazz bar loops of "Bermondsey Bosom", to the understated and bass-driven bounce of tracks like "Defense Capacity" or "You'll Learn It But Will Be Too Late" and some lovely microhouse groove hypnotism on the wonderful closer "Darsakudoo". Here's a reliable collection to keep the party going on a Sunday afternoon.
