The word on the street is that this rather good two-tracker, credited to debutant MS-DOS, is in fact the work of a well-known Italian producer. Whether or not that's the case remains to be seen, but whoever is behind it, we'd urge you to check the clips. A-side 'CD' is a deliciously wayward, off-kilter affair where talking drums, pots-and-pans percussion, tipsy trumpet solos and meandering vibraphone lines stretch out over a loose-limbed, Villalobos-like rhythm track and mind-mangling bassline. The minimal-meets-jazz flex continues on flipside number 'Dir', a heavier and more forthright chunk of early morning minimalism laden with creepy noises, exotic clarinet sounds and South American style drums.
