Japanese techno royalty Susumu Yokota was a singular operator at an international level, and his voluminous legacy will be pored over for a long time to come. On this second instalment of archival findings from his 246 alias, London-based label Cosmic Soup is once again offering up sparkling, melodious techno as sculpted by a true master of the sound. From the bubbling depths of 'Ambient Love' to the uplifting chords and sprightly drums of 'Tap Tile Up', there's so much boundless joy embedded in these jams. They bounce and bump like swinging house and techno should, but the magic lies in the composition. That's why the late Yokota's legacy remains so timeless, peerless and flawless.
