Jon Dasilva is one of the original Hacienda DJs, and this single on Rush Hour's Hour House is Your Rush imprint feels like a classic Summer of Love party tune straight outta 1988, albeit with a bit of Chicago flavour, provided in no small part by Donald Waugh's sublime vocal work. The "Bootleg mix" strips everything back, adding a drugged out quality to the bassline and taking the vocals and piano into a maelstrom of delay. Remix duties are performed by Braille, who follows up his incredible Year 3000 single with another brilliant production which takes the original and adds a restless rhythm to some percolating synths and pitch-shifted piano, adding a contemporary twist which will go down well with fans of his futuristic take on house music.
