Robert Pedrini has put out only a select few EPs since 2008 but he has a great grounding in the classic deep house sound. This one on Housewax is his first since 2015 but we'd Leo to hear more from him on a regal basis because it's an effortlessly cool EP. '737' is all breezy chords, splashy cymbals and vocal musings over a dusty house groove. 'Ornithologie' has just as dusty drums but with more expressive jazz keys and more raw percussion. 'Traiettoria 3' is the sort of stylish house you want to hear when the sun is out and the vibes are good, and 'Blue Blue' offers more plaintive piano keys that encourage introspective thoughts.
