There's naturally plenty of solid-gold fare on Classsic Classic Chapter Two, the second (of three) celebratory 30th anniversary comps from Luke Solomon's Classic Music Company imprint. Beginning with Freeform Five's epic and still essential revision of Isolee's 'Beau Mot Plage' - a kind of mutant Brazilian jazz-funk take on a deep house classic - the collection flits between relatively recent treats (Sophie Lloyd's gospel-house epic 'Calling Out', Girls of the Internet's 'When U Go'), slept-on gems (the bluesy jazz-house bump of Greenskeepers' 'Bang In Your Face', Crazy P's Clavinet-happy 'First True Light') and classic, must-have reworks (Pepe Bradock's peerless rework of Iz & Diz's eccentric 'Mouth', Derrick Carter's quirky take on Markus Nikolai's 2000s dance anthem 'Bushes').
