Detroit maverick Recloose returns on The Remedy Project with 'Dust' as the single celebrates its 20th anniversary with a fresh remix package. First championed by Gilles Peterson on BBC Radio 1 back at the turn of the new millennium, the track became a cult favourite that straddled different sounds and always moved dancefloors worldwide, not least in part thanks to Joe Dukie's (aka Dallas Tamaira of Fat Freddy's Drop) warm, soulful vocals and Recloose's signature grooves. The anniversary release pairs the original with new takes from Natasha Diggs who infuses it with New York soul, while Aroop Roy brings global dancefloor flair and AMicity & Melvo Baptiste reimagine it with rich electronic textures. 'Dust' proves its timeless charm here and it will surely work all over again on a new generation.
