US wheeler-dealers Big 45 here roll out another sly boot from the shadows to honour said likeness. On the A, Notorious B.I.G. flows over the silk and bounce of the Gap Band's 'Outstanding', flipping a West Coast roller; then Doom's supervillainy gets recast over David McCallum's 'The Edge', uncannily recalled as the backbone of Dr Dre's 'The Next Episode'. Both sides come courtesy of producer Don, who stitches these mashups with a light hand and deep crates, keeping the spirit of each source intact.
