Detroit In Effect is LA producer Tameko J. Williams and the music he makes is instantly recognisable for its pace but also its soul. He is a perfect fit for long-time electro devotees Clone West Coast and he comes through here with 'Who's In Control,' which has a hot-stepping drum pattern that will have you hopping from foot-to-foot in no time. Dubbmental fleshes it out with some warped synth funk and extra icy pads and the Alden Tyrell mix takes it into outerspace with kaleidoscopic synth swirls. 'Playin' Games (edit)' is more gritty and coruscated with fidgety pads and drums and 'Who's Jitters' is chopped up ghetto tech for when you've had too many coffees.
