Ewan Smith has been in good form over the last 12 months, delivering a couple of fine EPs for Aus Music. Here he returns to Will Saul's label with more late night business to tantalize European dancefloors. The title track sets the tone, with Smith expertly layering spooky melodies and crackly samples atop a subtle, cymbal-heavy groove. He ups the ante a little on "#1", with sparse melodies riding a thickset techno groove. Flip for the deep, tech-tinged house smoothness of "253 (Decent Mix)", and a blistering, carnival-inspired techno interpretation of the title track from Dario Zenker.
