Ah yes, this is where Will Bankhead's The Trilogy Tapes finally gets back to its roots and delivers the real weirdo stuff. Since the label's vinyl debut, Andrew Coltrane's intense Systems Of Chaos, TTT has been gradually drawn to the stranger strains of house and techno, but it's always been obvious that Bankhead's preference lies in the purely experimental. Ex Wolf Eyes member and Hanson Records boss Aaron Dilloway finally steps up on the label's catalogue with a furious bunch of noise tunes that, well, are simply indescribable in words. Simply described as being able to be played at any speed on the 12" itself, the two long form tracks are totally off-the-wall, ranging from the cacophonous, to the melancholic and the lo-fi. Originally issued on tape several years ago, this remains one of Dilloway's most interesting releases to date and it makes a fine addition to the TTT's singular catalogue. For the daring minds...
