Interestingly, Din A Testbild's 1981 album, Programm 2, was a big favourite with Italian cosmic disco pioneers Daniel Baldelli and DJ Mozart. Recorded at Klaus Schulze's studio a year after their experimental new wave debut - a seminal release in the story of Berlin's avant-garde scene - it's sound is undeniably more polished and heavily electronic than its' lauded predecessor. While still firmly experimental in outlook, Programm 2 contains some moments of almost overwhelming beauty (see the spellbinding pianos and dreamy synthesizer textures of "Tight Pants" and similarly spaced-out "Harrakiry Mon Amour"), as well as dubbed-out trips into weird electronic territory.
