Surprisingly, Produced With Love is Dave Lee's first album of original productions under the Joey Negro alias for nearly 20 years. Predictably, it's a fine set, as you'll discover by checking the clips of CD1. This time round, Lee has wisely chosen to indulge his disco and boogie influences, delivering tracks that tiptoe the fine line between stylistic authenticity and the feel-good house music he's long been known for. Highlights include a new disco version of classic Diane Charlamagne hook-up "Must Be The Music", the Arthur Russell inspired "Distorting Space & Time" and a fine, electrofunk style cover of Kraftwerk's "It's More Fun To Compute". Disc two boasts a swathe of bonus material, including a string of sublime remixes and Lee's superb productions for Peven Everett and Alex Mills.
