More lo-fi techno shenanigans from the Born Free camp. The next bunch of jams come courtesy of Russian duo Odopt, this is the second EP by the Bar Simachev (Moscow) residents for the Stockholm imprint- it follows up 2016's Sickert Art Bartel. Equal parts, EBM, coldwave and Italo can be heard on the nefarious groove of "Incident", while "Haunted Tales" heads down a much more industrial influenced route, with its pounding metallic rhythms and grinding arpeggios. The real highlight of the EP exists on the flip, in the form of "Navy Fit Republic" with its neon-lit late night bounce, that's just as dark and sleazy as you like.
