The Number of the Beast was Iron Maiden's third studio album. It came and made a huge impact in 1982 and that original version is the source for this 40th anniversary edition. It comes on cassette tape for extra nostalgic value and the chart topping tunes still carry plenty of weight today. One of them is their first UK top ten single, 'Run to the Hills,' which impressively managed to hit number 7 in the first week of March in 1982. Notably, it was also the first album form the rockers to have Bruce Dickinson on vocals.
