The latest reissue on the nostalgic Decks Classix imprint takes us back to 1994 and the first ever release on legendary UK deep house imprint Paper Recordings: Salt City Orchestra's brilliant 'The Book'. This edition boasts the two key mixes from the original 12", starting with the 'Paperback Vocal'. Topped with a mixture of spoken and sung vocals, it's a chunky, organ-rich fusion of warming chords, booming bass, shuffling beats and dark noises of the sort that were then popular at legendary NYC venue the Sound Factory.
