Ukrainian producer Fedo has been serving up solid (and occasionally sensational) blends of deep house, tech-house and "Rominimal" (his term) for some time, though mostly via his own digital store. This, we think, is his first vinyl outing - a smooth and impeccably produced EP for James Dexter's fast-rising Inermu Wax imprint. A-side 'Probablist' offers a neat and attractive summary of Fedo's trademark sound - think hyonotic, thickset and bass-heavy tech-house grooves with a jazzy shuffle, spacey deep house sounds and atmospheric spoken word samples. Over on side B, 'Teleporte' is a locked-in deep tech-house roller with added star-fall melodies, echoing vocal snippets, effects aplenty and warming samples, while 'Africano' is a dirtier, weirder and more mind-mangling after-hours jam of the sort that Parisian outlet Yoyaku does so well.
