Celestial Echo is Miche and Stu Clark, and for this one, they join forces with Divine Disco's Greg Belson for the second instalment of their 7" series spotlighting Detroit's legendary House of Beauty label. Founded in 1956 by Mrs Carmen Murphy, HOB was more than just another record label; it was a Black woman-owned beacon of gospel, soul and r&b that thrived against the odds. This release unearths two gems from it, starring with Messiahs of Glory's 'Can't Find No Other Love', which is a joyful, uptempo floor-filler making its 45 debut, and The Royal Travelers' 'Jesus Hold My Hand', which is a raw, funky gospel rarity. Fully licensed and remastered, and fully essential.
