Call Sender is the transatlantic project of Elliott and Reed, and it began as an online exchange of ideas rooted in drum breaks and vintage reverbs. Their debut album Lost To The Storm came on Tru Thoughts in 2023 and drew jazz-funk inspiration and earned radio support across tastemakers and DJs. Now they return and expand their trademark mix of B-movie soundtracks, psychedelic funk and library music with touches of lo-fi soul. The record features Shawn Lee on 'Brainforests,' JJ Whitefield on 'Two Tails' and vocals from Andre Cruz, Lucid Paradise and even Elliott's son Buddy. It's a warm sound that spans styles, sounds and eras with funky grace.
