Chicago based Toddsonic33 shows his skills for edits and reworks for the sixth volume of Edits Collection imprint. House and Disco tunes unmissable for your sets!

Having previously offered up fine rework EPs from Peter Croce, Lello Di Franco, Rahaan, DJ Monchan and the Patchouli Brothers, Italian imprint The Edits Collection has decided to showcase some scalpel works from sometime Hot Biscuit contributor Toddsonic33. On side A he delivers two takes on rubbery disco-funk jam 'Thankful': the EP opening 'Edit 1', whose power derives from subtle changes and elongated builds, and the raw drum machine-driven, Ron Hardy style 'Vocal dub'. Turn to the flip for 'Go Wiggles', a dusty and crackling, LTJ style disco-house loop jam crafted from a Clavinet heavy jam of unknown origin, and the high-octane, eyes-closed funk explosion that is 'Wait (Part 2)'.
