After two years, Samosa Records has finally delivered a sequel to its' popular 2019 mini-compilation Italian Disco Machine. Like its' predecessor, this second volume offers a mixture of tooled-up, club-focused re-edits and heavy disco-house jams. First up label co-owner Les Inferno adds crunchy house drums to a warming, steadily rising 1970s disco gem ('Boogie Bones'), before Shamako delivers a superb rearrangement of a luscious, synth-sporting slab of grandiose orchestral disco ('I Like To Love'). MB Edit's 'All Night' is bumpin' disco-house take on a celebratory disco number rich in mazy solos, crisp guitars and squelchy bass, while Cezar's 'Dancin' and Feel Good' is a lolloping, Popular People's Front style revision of a kaleidoscopic, P-funk-fuelled boogie workout.
