Tropic of Love Music makes to bow here with an album from Idris Rahman, Leon Brichard and Tom Skinner, aka Wildflower. Their third release is another deep and spiritual exploration of rhythm and sound with elements of jazz, hip-hop and broken beat all colouring the most contemporary sounds. The confidence and musicianship of this group really shines through with tracks managed to be both structured and rhythmic but open to freeform exploration with a carefree ethic. Each song has a colour reference suggestive of mood, tone and internal balance, making this an all the more involving listen.
