Milan's Funclab are back with the debut album from Leonardo Passanti aka HollySpleef, a 28 year old producer (and skater and gardener) from Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The eight tracks featured on Garden Grooves take in a wide selection of moods and, well.. grooves. Improvisational jazz fuses with ambient, hip- hop, house and dub. From the blunted summertime urban bliss of 'Going With The Flow' featuring vocals by Moodhay, as well as the glitch-hop of 'Splash', to the emotive late night deep house of 'Hollyday' and the sensual bass music of 'Treat You Right' - it's best enjoyed in you lawnchair.
