In the annals of East Coast hip-hop, Main Source's The Science is one of the great lost treasures. After K.Cut, Sir Scratch and Large Professor laid down the template with their seminal Breaking Atoms in 1991, they recorded a swift follow up and had it complete and ready for release when Professor left the group and the album was shelved. The Science was under lock and key and never even saw a bootleg circulation, which means this first ever release of the album is monumental news for anyone who values the golden age of hip-hop. It's as good as you'd expect and this edition comes with a bonus 7" loaded with another two exclusive tracks.
