The Great Hope is an homage to perseverance, a love letter to human nature, a hopeful look at the world, hoping the world smiles back. In the midst of great doubt let there always be a great hope.

Dear Music Friends, Two days before the vinyls arrived, I was sitting in a bookstore and I overheard an 8-year old girl reading a passage from a book to her mum saying “Courage means being strong enough to accept your weaknesses”. As I received 300 copies of “The Great Hope” vinyls wrapped on parcel from courier, which we then carried on our hands three floors up to the apartament, I thought how well it fitted into my thoughts around releasing this vinyl. I think what makes us inherently human is our soft spots, our vulnerabilities, the way we feel and experience the world in our own unique way. The Great Hope was my first small step towards that courage - to release an imperfect album recorded in my living room, with my imperfect compositions, with all the beautiful pedal noises or mechanism clicks. It was about sharing music that was an intuitive expression of what i felt at the time. Looking back, I am so proud that I shared that piece of me with whoever wanted to listen. I didn’t even dream of sharing any physical copies of it at that point, but as I got more courage, I started day dreaming about other things I would like to try, with more and more beautiful music opportunities, supportive people and places, I took another leap of faith with releasing this album finally on vinyl - another imperfect and yet so beautiful and unique for experiencing music in an analogue way. There is no right time to decide on what your dreams are and no wrong time to try and make them come true. I would like to thank you for being part of this process, and for sparking more hope and courage in me. In the midst of great doubt, let there always be a Great hope.
