Tel Aviv-born, London-based keyboardist and producer Yoni Mayraz steps forward with his most ambitious work yet, a heady blend of live improvisation and deep studio craft. Backed by longtime collaborators Tom Driessler on bass and Zoe Pascal on drums, he recorded at North London's legendary Konk Studios, letting the room's dark wooden acoustics shape every note. The record moves between 90s hip-hop swing, Middle Eastern melodic threads, and 70s jazz-funk textures, tied together by Mayraz's lyrical keys. Guests add extra colour: Tenderlonious lights up 'Ghostown!', Fly Anakin spits sharp verses on 'Ice Cold', while JSPHYNX and Miriam Adefris bring haunting depth to 'Exarcheia' and 'Trip to Japan'. It's daring, restless and richly expressive.
