Beside Brainfeeder's jazz planet-eater Kamasi Washington, and pan-audient dance music producer Bonobo, neuroscientist and experimental musician Floating Points has contributed a part-score to the new Shinichiro Watanabe-written anime series, Lazarus. Named after the Biblical resurrectee, Lazarus deals in the sour fallout of a purported miracle drug's effects on the world population; everyone who once took the ubiquitous "Hapna" drug is now shortly to disappear mysteriously off the face of the Earth, and a crack team of super agents is now tasked with tracking its scientist-inventor to mass-produce a vaccine before it is too late. Floating Points contributes 'Dexion', a modulated march through generated, progressive-domestic euphoria, where many special agent-machine comes together to act as one, and save the world.
