Pilooski digs deep into his most experimental side with a project inspired by a 1930s-preserved time-capsule; a Vietnamese villa built during the December years of French media magnate William Berretty where he isolated himself from both the world and his fading grandeur. Over ambient, dreamy, spacious arrangements Pilooski has invited four readers: Jarvis Cocker reads from Gustav Jung's Red Book, Judah Warsky delivers his own personal homage to the sun and moon, Narumi Herisson reads an extract from Ango Sakaguchi's No Mori No Makai No Shita while French writer Liberati reads from his own 113 Studies Of Romantic Literature. The result sits somewhere between an ageless film, radio drama and a really tripped out children's audio book. Unquestionably unique.
