Tissu's debut for Mork last year was a refreshing bit of outsider techno, and that EP has had us waiting on some more material from the producer. London's Lobster Theremin seems like a perfect home to this calibre of artist and his wayward sound fits into the label's catalogue like hand in glove. "Space Loop" perfectly encapsulates the loose roll of analogue beats and hazy melodies within its groove, but "RV Jam" is even more spectacular thanks to its punchy cascade of synths and collapsing drum machine hits. On the flip, "Filter (dub)" is still loose and chimerical, but Tissu manages to weave a tight, mechanical groove that seems to hold everything else in place - a wild and untamed plane from a distant planet.
