Earlier this year saw Hell Yeah Recordings unleash the freaky sound world that was Fabrizio Mammarella's debut long player under his long running Telespazio alias. If you haven't checked it yet, we suggest you remedy that as Mammarella delivered a most idiosyncratic album of cosmic disco funk. The eight tracks were ripe for reinvention so kudos to Hell Yeah for pulling together a quartet of like-minded souls to remix some of the Telespazio cuts. Freerange artist Kito Jempere turns in a wonderfully broken Jazz State Of Mind remix of "Glide Shot" with some sublime synth touches, whilst Wolf Muller goes typically off piste with a stuttering Dusseldorf beatdown take on "Barrier". Australian producer Harvey Sutherland turns in a far sighted deep house rendition of "Rays" whilst Hell Yeah act Tempelhof go all ambient Balearic on "Nuvolari".
