To mark reaching 300 releases - a major milestone that few independent labels reach - Mule Musiq has decided to offer up a first ever vinyl edition of Kuiyuki Takahashi's 2006 debut album, We Are Together - a set that not only showcased his skills as a producer of "future jazz", deep house and ambient, but also as a remixer. The track listing is slightly different, with one notable remix omitted and further period tracks added to make up an expansive 11-track excursion. In many ways, this makes it even stronger than the original CD version, with highlights including the percussive and propulsive nu-jazz heaviness of 'People', the ultra-deep jazz-house warmth of 'North Line', the broken beat breeze of 'Kids Breath', the Rhodes-laden jazz-funk revivalism of 'Sunshine', and Takahashi's sublime, soft-focus rework of Ananda Project's 'Cascades of Colour'.
